Reply:I hate doing your homework for you but I don't want you getting confused. The Anaconda Strategy was about taking the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers along with a total blockade of the ports along The Confederacy's Atlantic and Gulf shores. That has nothing to do with Bull Run.
The embarrassing defeat of the Union Army at First Bull Run(aka "First Manassas" to the Southerners) proved that it was going to be a long hard war fought against an enemy that they had underestimated.
It was a wake-up call for the Union similar to what the British saw at Bunker Hill during the American Revolution. In that fight the British thought the rebellion by a bunch of colonial amateurs would be easy to put down.Although the Continental Army lost that battle to the British they caused severe casualties to the British regiments proving that the fights would not be easily won.

I believe the answer is C. If it were a recession banks would not help the economy by loaning out money. IT would only make matters worse. How will the people be able t pay back these loans. There is no way to determine how long the recession may be.

a) The price would go up for carnations as there would be a limited supply of healthy carnations, thus the price would rise. Low supply, same demand, high price.
b) Again, not an economist here, but because the carnation is the substitute for the rose, I don't believe anything would change for the rose at all. Supply of roses is the same, demand is the same, so I don't think anything would change for the roses.
c)A price ceiling might get the suppliers of the rose to not want to have a large supply of them, so the quantity of the roses on the market would go down somewhat, which would cause the price to rise, and thus, the roses would leave the equilibrium they were in.
Reply:a. How the disease effects the quantity of carnations is a biolgy question, not economics. I think we are supposed to assume the disease means fewer are produced or that the costs to produce increase. Either way, the disease is likely to cause the price of carnations to increase.
b. Since roses are a suitable substitute for carnations, the demand for roses will increase with higher carnation prices, initially increasing the price for roses as well, but also likely to lead to an increase in rose production (unless the carnation disease is a one time occurance- how the f**k are we supposed to know what the disease is and how it affects carnations?)
c. The price ceilling, if set below market prices, will increase demand for roses. If the price ceiling is below market price for carnations and carnations do not have a similar ceiling, demand for carnations will decrease and demand for roses will increase. I haven't missed any pills, and I take all the pills at the same time during the day. I know B.C. isn't like 100% percent effective, but does spotting decrease it's effectiveness ?

The month b4 I was taking antibiotics for a cold, so I wasn't having sex, b/c my pill wasn't fully effective. Then I started the next pack and figured it was okaay, and had sex. My pill has a week rule. So if it was uneffective the month b4 due to anti biotics, and then I didn't wait a week for the next pack to take effect, did it still protect?

Sorry that truth frees is full of CRAP up to their eyeballs. Birth control doesn't cause abortions. It prevents pregnancy from even happening. Anyhow, to answer your question, if you did not use an alternate form of birth control while you were waiting the 7 days for your birth control to become effective again, then yes, there is a possibility that pregnancy could have occurred. If you are worried, you can take a home pregnancy test.

Actualy what birth control pills do is prevent ovulation, but 15 to 20 % of the time it still takes place so the ABORTIFACIENT called birth control pills (which is realy what their category is, they are not true contraceptives) have a back up mechanism which makes the Uterian wall hostile to the CONCEIVED embryo and starves it to death. yes birth control pills cause what is known as unknown abortion. ~ Peace!
