Does caffeine make supplements more effective?

does caffeine increase your body temperature (specifically) and increase the energy for the body ( in general) to provide an environment suitable for the chemistry reactions of the supplements to take place?

Is it basically providing the REACTIONs of the supplements I buy too happen faster and more effectively?

Supplements meaning antioxidants a, e, c and proanthocyanin's or something (grape extract).

Someone please respond who understands the sciences or concept well

Does caffeine make supplements more effective?
Caffeine blocks (attaches to) a receptor in your brain, which prevents another one from attaching. The one that can't attach is setotonin which has a sleepy effect. So when you take a supplement with caffeine in it, it makes you more awake and energetic.

I have never heard of caffeine having an effect on antioxidants, but going on my general biology knowledge it wouldn't make sense as the two have nothing in common in regards to the pathway.

Manufacturers often add it because it makes you feel better (more awake and energetic).

I would assume they do this because this is what people want when they buy an antioxidant (people want to feel refreshed, right?). So caffeine is really acting to give the consumer what they expect to get from an antioxidant. Makes sense?
Reply:Faster maybe, not more effectively.
