For those that got pregnant on the pill...?

which one were you taking... %26amp; were you always taking it on time?


were you on any anti-biotics at the time.. or anything that would make it less effective??





i ask b/c i am was on yaz just switched to yasmin and ALWAYS take it on time but have been reading about alot of ppl getting pregnant on the pill...and was just wondering about the above questions....thanks =]

For those that got pregnant on the pill...?
I was on loestrin 24. I took it every morning at 8:30-9:00 and never missed a pill. I was not on any antibiotics at the time I got pregnant. Sometimes it just does not work. That why they say its only 99% effective. I truly believe you are meant to have a baby when you do so you never know whats going to work or not. Good luck!
Reply:My fiancee is/was on the pill.....I forget the name. And she got pregnant due to the anti-biotics she was taking. The doc told her that.....and she's a nurse.
Reply:I was also on OrthoTricyclen Lo... and I never skipped or was taking antibiotics. It just didnt work.
Reply:I became pregnant while taking orthotricyclen lo. I take it before I go to bed which is within about an hour and a half difference each night. I didn't skip any pills and my doctor said it didn't matter if I took it at exactly the same time or not. I was not on any antibiotics and I don't know of anything else making it ineffective.





You should use condoms just to be safe. It's pretty rare to become pregnant while on the pill - but it's best to be safe.
