I got Evra b.c patches from mexico, but they dont say "Ortho Evra", just "Evra". Still the same effectiveness?

I had a Rx but in mexico it is not needed, I bought them there since I was on a vacation and they were $17.00 vs $50.00 or so in the US. Seems authentic, though there are no number stickers to label the patches and the box just says "Evra". I have yet to get pregnant after 2-3 mos on the mexican ones but it could be the Ortho Evra ones still being effective since whenever I stop Ortho Evra they continue effectiveness for 3 mos. I just dont want any surprises any time in the future!!

While I personally would not completely trust medications from Mexico, it seems that it may be legit.

According to wikipedia, the patch is marketed as "Ortho Evra" in the U.S., but in other countries it is marketed simply as "Evra".

Good luck!
Reply:I would not trust it just to be safe also have you heard about the recall on ortho evra i would switch my bc immediatley try the depo shot or the ring but i would get away from the patch people have died using it!!!
Reply:The patch is dangerous, I dont think you should use it
Reply:If you're hoping not to have any 'surprises', I don't think cheap Mexican birth control is the way to go...

My $50 Prada and Kate Spade purses also seem authentic...they're not.
Reply:well, since ortho evra was recalled- i wouldnt trust mexican "evra" either...
Reply:I wouldn't trust them...
