an even faster yield of products would be to ..
a. add more of the enzyme
b. heat the solution to 90 degrees C.
c. add more substrate
d. add an allosteric inhibitor
e. add a noncompetitive inhibitor
A substrate saturated enzyme solution is most effective to obtain ...cont.?
a) add more enzyme. if the enzyme is saturated with substrate adding more substrate will not increase the rate or yield. addining an inhibitor would reduce the rate of formation of substrate and heating to 90 deg C would likely denature the enzyme (unless it's heat stable, if so then this answer would also be correct)
