b. creates memory cells that produce specific antibodies

c. causes the disease, which you will only get one time in your life

d. consists of particles that stay in the body permanently and destroy viruses

Vaccination is effective because. . . [multiple choice]?
B. creates memory cells that produce specific antibodies
Reply:B.

it gets the body used to the dasease in order to build a defense.
Reply:I go with choice B also
Reply:i'd go with B
Reply:The answer is "B". A virus or bacteria is introduced into your bloodstream where it is met by anti-bodies, or white blood cells. The infection is attacked by these cells and this re-programs the immune systems "soldiers", so they can recognize and destroy the threat faster when it is again encountered. A great example is chicken pox, I have been exposed to it many times during my life but have never got it, some immune system programming is passed down through hereditary.
Reply:It introduces a part of the virus, so that your body can produce anti-bodies for it so that if the virus infects you, it can fight it off. So b) iI guess...
Reply:b
Reply:B.) Creates "memory" cells that produce specific antibodies.

D.) Consists of particles that stay in the body and permanently destroy viruses.

Both of those fit, since it is multiple choice though, I would say that B is more right than D because the whole point of vaccination is for your body to build antibodies against diseases.

Reply:the answer is B, because vaccines contains a very weak strain of the disease so that our antibodies could fight it in the future when you may be affected or not.
Reply:It's definitely b). This is coz the Vaccine contains dead or weakened microbes of the disease which tricks or stimulates your body's immune system to produces antibodies to fight against the disease. The vaccine doesn't have an instant effect but it is long lasting. In the sense it can help the memory cells to "remember" the pathogen, if it is to return to the body. Then the memory cells will identify the disease and then produce the specific antibodies to kill the pathogen.
Reply:c. causes the disease, which you will only get one time in your life
