Which of the followings is the most effective method for clearing the negative Karmas and why?

a. Yajna(Yagya)

b. Pranayam

c. chanting mantra

d. pooja path(worship)

Which of the followings is the most effective method for clearing the negative Karmas and why?
None.

Am sorry, but according to me all the above mentioned are karmas again hence not capable to clear negative karmas. These activities may accumulate positive karmas for sure but that does not mean that they clear up the past bad karma.

As per my little knowledge and experience go, to negate or clear negative karmas the one thing we can do is to have a consistent thought of "sadbhaav" towards one and all. Translate this "sadbhaav" into our thoughts, actions, speech and intent. By doing so we'll be sending out vibrations of positivity, goodness, well being and strength to all and hence these shall also effect those whom we ill treated accumulating bad karma (even unintentionally). When these vibrations reach them and they feel good and become better is when the weight of the negative karmas slowly reduces.

This form of neutralizing negative karma is also referred to as penance.

Hope it helps

Reply:All of the above - karmayoga, kriyayoga, jnanayoga and bhaktiyoga - are important and it depends on the nature and stage of the individual. For some individual at one stage one of them may be more important than the other. If you also add the best - selfless activity(nishkama karma) without expectation of results(karmaphalatyaga) - it completes all that is required to wash off the karmas.
Reply:Non, Positive Karma
Reply:All the above mentioned things are good karmas it doesnot reduce the bad karma but reduce the effect of bad karma on U R self.

Whenever we come to understand ourselves then all the Karma will be cleared off still that all karma will be with us.
Reply:All the above have their place. Pranayam and chanting mantra are purificatory and have stabilising effect. They equip one for yajna and pooja. If these are performed for the benefit of all and 'without expectations-nishkaam', they would reduce the effect of the sanchita karma.
Reply:All these are forms of karma yoga in the ancient/original sense of the word. If done in the right mental attitude they can cause transformation of consciousness leading to attenuation (thinning/lessening) of so-called "bad karma." However, I tend to agree with Rakshas and other responders who point out the importance of doing disciplines that help generate compassionate feelings for oneself and others, which will help modify consciousness and behavior. The point is to not worry about and avoid "bad karma" and accruing "good karma" but to dissociate oneself from karmic momentum and realize that life in the body IS karma. The karmic momentum goes on while the body persists. Identification with the Atman and emotional distancing from the effects of karma are the key to spiritual development and the attentuation of karmic reactivity and effects themselves.
