What are the most effective antioxidants you can buy in capsule form?

I know vitamin C is, vitamin D is, grapeseed, ginko. Any others? What are some good ones?

What are the most effective antioxidants you can buy in capsule form?
Ester C rather than the previous Vitamin C tabs

Also there is Vitamin E (various isomers of tocopherol)
Reply:What you want is a multi-vitamin that contains many antioxidant nutrients. Don't take just one; nutrients are best absorbed and most effective when taken together.

Look for these antioxidants:

alpha lipoic acid, beta-carotene, bilberry, burdock, coenzyme Q10, curcumin, flavonoids, garlic, ginger, ginkgo biloba, glutathione, grape seed extract, green tea, melatonin, methionine, n-acetylcysteine, resveratrol, selenium, silymarin, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc.
Reply:you should try a cup of green tea with a hint of fresh squeezed lemon..or white tea.

ii hope your body doesn't become dependent and stop producing its own..
Reply:the master of all antioxidants is glutathione but do not buy glutathione capsules as the molecules are too big and heavy to enter the cells you need a glutathione accelerator their is one i use it is called MaxGxl it is the only one out there with a composit patent I buy it on line at www.mymaxgxl.com/max4health

this is amazing. Glutathione is the master cell protector and we stop producing it at the age of 20 and it decreases over the years Max has the components of glutathione and when it enters the cell it starts to produce and reproduce glutathione to make your cells healthier in return you are healthier it also detoxifies as it cleans your liver and boost your immune system. best of luck I don't go a day without it.
Reply:MaxGXL:)

The most effective antioxidant is in your body. It's an amino acid chain called glutathione. Antioxidents come in various forms: oxigen burning, nitrogen burning, hydroxyl burning, but glutathione takes care of all of the free radicals in cells.

Glutathione supplements are a problem because even if they don't get destroyed in the stomach, they're still too big to pass through the cell membrane.

Forgive me for advertising the antioxidant I'm taking, but it's called MaxGXL—the only effective formulation of glutathione. (comes in capsule form) It actually gets inside cells because it contains the components of glutathione which easily pass through the cell membrane and assemble on the other side. I feel better and think better while I'm taking it. I was having some serious memory problems and I'm only 24. I work for a doctor who specializes in preventative medicine and he put me on it when he hired me as a research assistant.

I recommend it to anyone under a lot of stress or forced to memorize a lot of stuff (students).

Reply:Reduced glutathione, selenium-methionine, OPC, and melatonin (to be taken before sleep).
Reply:Vitamins A, C and E and selenium as well as beta carotene (precursor of vitamin A) and citrus bioflavonoids. Selenium is normally in tablet form but it is often included in some multivitamin capsules.
Reply:Try a juice like Goji.
